OVERVIEW
This Sitting Stitching Clamp is hand made in France of beautiful French wood. The quality of this build is incredible and is perfect for those that prefer a sitting / vertical stitching position. This clamp is designed to be sat on and the jaws will sit right in front of you in a very ergonomic position.
This clamp you will notice the attention to detail and the precision of all the cuts. The hinge on both the jaws and the leg are strong and open and close with just the right tolerance (no too loose or sloppy, not too tight) The jaws line up perfectly flush and give even pressure to your work. To open and close the jaws you rotate the large wood piece between the jaws. The opening / closing mechanism has a nice gear ratio to open and close with minimal rotation. This allows to quickly open and close the vise jaws.
A nice extra bonus is the locking mechanism that allows the clamp to fold down for maximum portability or to store in a safe place while you perform other tasks. We can’t speak highly enough on the quality and are excited to have them available.
